In just two years with ATCO, Abril has demonstrated the exact qualities that make a pest control professional truly excellent: thoroughness, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help every customer she serves.
A Natural Problem Solver
“I’ve always liked puzzles,” Abril says. “Pest control is actually a lot like puzzle-solving — you walk in, you look at the clues, you figure out what’s going on and where it’s coming from, and then you put together a plan.” That systematic, analytical approach comes through in every inspection she does.
Abril earned her California pest control applicator license in 2023 and has since developed particular expertise in ant management and cockroach control — two of the most complex pest challenges in Bay Area homes.
What Customers Say
Customers appreciate Abril’s communication style. “She took the time to explain what she was doing and why,” one customer wrote. “She pointed out things about my kitchen I never would have noticed — and two weeks later, the ants were completely gone.” Feedback like this is consistent across Abril’s service calls.
Outside the Job
Abril is a first-generation college graduate with a degree in environmental biology. Outside of work, she volunteers with a community garden in the East Bay and is learning to salsa dance. She is a proud aunt to four nieces and nephews and a dedicated advocate for bilingual education in her community.
